Our History

The idea, renovation. It was 1982 when Romano and Guido Pugi with partners Salvatore D’Amico and Paolo Migliori came up with the idea to renew the old family tradition of manufacturing covers and carpets (active since 1907) dedicating themselves to technical manufacturing, flame retardant’s fabrics.

Evolution, growth markets and new products. Over the years, the integration of their sons into the company and the realization of the new factory brought about further evolutions, both commercials and stylistics, which gave PUGI R.G. a very stable position in the market: combining elevated quality standards with great flexibility while controlling the entire production’s process from the fabric’s creation till the production. Cooperation with architects and designers has allowed the development of new products demonstrating carefully attention to the colour and the refinement in the designs to always offer up- to date products in line with the continuous evolution of the market.
